Kleemann History

Kleemann History

Kleemann’s origin dates back to 1987, when two young men with a passion for Mercedes-Benz vehicles founded a company in Farum, Denmark. In 1992 the construction of the first Kleemann Kompressor System began for a small group of Danish customers.

Designed for a M111 1.8 liter 4 cylinder, the original Kleemann Kompressor System was created in large part to Danish tax laws surrounding engine displacement. By 1994 Kleemann A/S began to produce this highly effective Kompressor System for customers around the world. The success of the 4 cylinder Kompressor System brought demand for 6 and 8 cylinder Kompressor Systems. Over the years, our range of products grew to include exhaust, suspension, wheels and chassis components.

To this day, Kleemann continues to offer a comprehensive line of tuning products for Mercedes Benz and AMG owners.  A Kleemann upgrade will raise the performance of your Mercedes Benz or AMG to another level. Our goal is to enhance the best qualities of Mercedes Benz and AMG cars, without compromise.
